Tools of Trade! or Projects..

1. On the left in the Blue box are some very handy high quality broaches for making holes in just about anything. The set I have ranges from 5/16” to 3/4” in diameter. Blue-Point #GA219B.
2. The Red box in the center is a butane soldering iron. Very handy. Can’t imagine doing a project without one. Solder and do the heat shrink tubing all with the same tip. Blue-Point #YAKS1.
3. Quality crimpers (Blue handle) are a must for all of the wire connecters. Makes a big difference to use the correct crimp.
4. A good quality wire striper is nice. Removes the sheathing from the wire without damaging the core wire.
5. A cordless electric drill, screw drivers and a small pair of side cuts.
6. Giant (3 foot) Zip-Tie. Great for running wires under the carpet or in the dash on projects.

7. Handy little item to have if you have to disconnect your Battery for a project. This is used to retain memory in things like your radio. Simple 9 volt battery that plugs into your lighter socket.

Blue-Point Part #YA-960 Memory Saver
