Opening the factory firewall Penetration in the Jeep Liberty
Opening the factory firewall Penetration in the Jeep Liberty

Here is a great write up showing you how to run wires easily:

Ok, so you want to get some wires from the passenger compartment to the engine compartment. Maybe your running some wires for that new set of fog lights, a power wire for that bangin' sub in the back or power wires and coax for that big honkin' amateur radio that you want to use mobile. The installation instructions for the DC fog light kit show the wires being run thru the seal around the main wiring harness.

Liberty is the best selling Compact SUV

Liberty unseats Escape as compact SUV leader

Quote:
Toledo-made Jeep Libertys recaptured the nation's compact sport-utility vehicle crown from the Ford Escape last year after sales surged 38 percent in December.

Both the Liberty and Toledo-made Jeep Wrangler posted sales gains nationwide last month compared to the year before, even though DaimlerChrysler AG's U.S. brands had a 5 percent slide in December. Liberty set a sales record for the month.

For the year, though, Liberty's U.S. sales fell less than 1 percent to 166,883, while Wrangler sales were up 2 percent to 79,017. The results helped boost Chrysler's sales for the year to 2.3 million vehicles.

Muggers chose Liberty as their getaway vehicle..
Muggers chose Liberty as their getaway vehicle..

Six bandits armed with semiautomatic weapons, including a Tech-9 machine pistol, interrupted an all-terrain-vehicle outing at a Laurel quarry yesterday, stealing three ATVs from their owners - along with the vehicles used to transport them, Prince George's County police said.
....
The holdup was staged about noon at a quarry near Van Dusen and Virginia Manor roads. The robbers arrived in a Jeep Liberty, confronted the owners of the ATVs at gunpoint and took three vehicles - a Chevrolet Silverado, Dodge Dakota and Ford F-150 pickup, each with at least one ATV, police said.

Liberty smashes to and flips over an Armored truck

MOUNT PLEASANT – The driver of a Jeep Liberty smashed into a Loomis Fargo and Co. vehicle and flipped the armored car on Highway 31 near Timber Drive.

The accident, which snarled traffic near Regency Mall, occurred at about 10:30 a.m. Authorites were transferring money from the armored vehicle to another vehicle following the crash. The money was sealed inside the vehicle, and was never in danger of spilling into the street.

Police continue to investigate the accident. They have not released information on injuries.
